Again I Done Did Got Tagged Again Dagnabit!

Can you believe I have been tagged twice in two days? Me either. This time it comes from my usual sadist... I mean tagger AKA Serena Joy. She does so love to torment me I think and I love her for it.

Today's tag is all about blogging and why we do it.

1. What was the first blog that you regularly read?
A political battleground called Drudge Retort. It was/is a news site that allows members to post stories and comment on them. It got me hooked to forcing my opinion on random strangers. No link to them though; I left on bad terms.

2. Do you remember the first blogger that you had an E-Mail relationship with?
A fellow Drudgeie who went by “JeffJ.” He and I never agreed on anything, but there was a civil nature to our debates that forced us to usually continue them in private, away from the trolls. We were even running for office under "K&J 08- Vote Early/ Vote Often"

3. Why did you create your blog?
I think it created me or maybe Al Gore created us both.

4. When was your first post, and who was your first commenter?
July 11, 2006 and Gal Tuesday. I miss her

5. Are there blogs that you absolutely have to visit daily?
Yes, everyone on my list. The truth is that I have a link list more for me than for my readers. It is the places I love to go to.

6. Is your Blog categorized? (i.e., Comedy, Literary, Personal Angst, Etc.)
It is now simply because it makes me feel like a real writer. “Want my politics? That is right here. Movies? Over here.” I am my own library

7. Do you see an end to your blogging some day?
Probably, but I am not planning on it. I assume blogging after death will be a tad bit difficult with all the pitchforks, fire, and brimstone, but like Houdini said- if there is life after death I’ll let you know.

8. What are you wearing right this very minute?
Boring work clothes- pasties, a G-string, and a wad of dollar bills.

I am tagging thatgreenyflower for certain for this one. Anyone else who has not been tagged before can bust your cherry on this one. It does get harder from here....the tagging you pervs!

Aw, Kan, I'm so glad you love letting me torment you.:)

Are you sure about #4? I know I've known you way longer than a month. I think I remember Gal Tuesday. I definitely remember all the stuff that was going on at the DT. Those were weird times.

I assume you're still at work, so bend this way and I'll stick another dollar in your g-string.:-)

Cool..you got your first comment on 7/11. Did they take a big gulp?

It just seems longer SJ =D. Just kidding. Thanks for spotting that. It was 2006. You don't have to tip me, membership has its privileges.

VE,
I did not get a big gulp, but I did get a small swallow.

You tagged my skanky ass, and I rose to the occasion.

Ok Mr. Political. You of all people are going to love my new post! I thought about collaborating with you on it but then thought I'd just open it up for all readers to be involved.

July 11, 2006 was a Tuesday.

It was a Tuesday. My first post was a political rant. In it I said:

This should be a banner year for the DNC. I am not so confident. I see a lot of infighting among Democrats and no clear message on any issue. The Democrats have no clear leader to help convey their lack of a clear message. Inshort, they are resting their political careers, and our futures, on the hopes that we are upset enough with the RNC to vote DNC.

Funny how nothing ever changes in politics. Probably explains why I avoid the subject lately.

TO PROVE MY LACK OF ANNOYANCE W/ MR. K AND TAGGING GAMES:

1. What was the first blog that you regularly read?
Justine Larbalestier's

2. Do you remember the first blogger that you had an E-Mail relationship with?
The now MIA Lesia Valentine (and it was brief)

3. Why did you create your blog?
To force myself to be less shy in a public sphere of writing and reading.

4. When was your first post, and who was your first commenter?
December, 2006. Catherine Avril Morris, who urged me to begin blogging in the first place.

5. Are there blogs that you absolutely have to visit daily?
Yes.

6. Is your Blog categorized?
I'm not sure what this means, but I did start tagging my posts when Blogger Beta or whatever it is took over the 'sphere.

7. Do you see an end to your blogging some day?
I don't think about it.

8. What are you wearing right this very minute?
Are we back to the skanky and the big gulping and the whatnot? This one does sound a little impertinent. I'll just say it's not a Tiki dress.

Does your mother know about your wearing pasties and G-strings? Although my blog isn't a political one, I've spent far too long debating lately, for a single post that amounted to 2 three letter acronyms, 3 if you count repeating one twice for the title, but I do feel strongly about it. You're welcome to jump in anytime you would like, since I think for the most part you'd help rather than detract.

Charles,
I went to your site a few times, but it intimidates me. Something about all that artificial intelligence talk and computer lingo that makes me feel…well, stupid. I do love a good political debate though, as long as all parties are polite and realize there is never a right answer, only an exchange of opinions.

Well, don't let that stuff stop you, its the exception anymore not the rule. Even the genius that comes by complains when I do that stuff.
