Welcome to the Kanrei Home for Wayward Lemmings. Please keep your Tin Foil Cap on at all times for your own safety. Occasionally, you may see something that appeals or intices you. We ask that you refrain from flash photography and/or feeding said things. Again, this is for your own safety. The gift shop is fully stocked with overpriced postcards of things you would never want a photo of so please feel free to visit it on your way either in or out. Both would be nice.

Lemming Hurricane Update
It is not looking good for your host, but does not look bad yet either. We here in Miami are in a holding pattern until Ernesto decides where exactly he wants to go. Do not fear if I do not update for a few days, it will only mean I got no power. We are used to it down here. Got my MP3 charging, my Nintendo DS charged, my DVD player charging, my portable fridge getting cold, and I have a good supply of peanut butter,Boy R Dee, and bread. Bring it baby! I am ready for ya!
More soon.

I hope all the liberals find a safe place to stay and I hope their property damage is minimal.
Stock up, charge up, batten down the hatches, and stay safe.
Make sure you have an adequate amount of porn and drugs handy for a long shut in....
I used to love big storms until I actually went through a few real bad ones....(Germany 89') (election day Seattle 2000)....Now, a small rain cloud is enough.....I wonder if this year is another bad one for the Gulf, if they will restrict building codes.....
If Jebs house crumbles from the storm that would make my day.
C'mon up here with me in W.PA. Kan. We'll get A1 to come up and we'll have a heck of a good time!
The Phantom
Thanks Phan, but I am the last of a dying breed: a storm lover. I was not in Miami during Andrew, so I still have that Miami pre-Andrew attitude going.
Got stuck in 2 at Va. Beach while on vacation. You can have them Kan. Good luck buddy. I bailed out on the hurricanes a little to late. Water up to the tires and a rainey traffic jam on I95.Maybe you can write a piece and give us a blow by blow account what it's like to be in the storm. After the fact of course.
The Phantom
Storms are great until they start killing people.....I will never forget Katrina hitting(and many others).......Jackass and I had the biggest fightin the histroy of the retort......We both promised to kill each other at least ten times.....
Up here in Washington, its flooding, some years we get so much rain every road way and waterfront starts to wash away.....Soil erosion is a major problem....
Can you believe there is a levy issue here in Miami? For real. It is not going to be a factor with this storm and most of us here never knew they existed, but west of Miami is all everglades and there are levys keeping it out. They are saying a Katrina here will break the levys and flood Miami
Another Katrina on New Orleans and that city is toast.....and most likely will never be above 150k people again......I would be afraid to live there.....
